This shouldn't affect mindstorms however, since it doesn't use any special
devices (it just talks via the serial port). I haven't used the Mindstorms
software in ages, so I can't comment on how well it works on Windows 2000.
I've used NQC on Windows 2000 many times, and it works with no problems
(most of my computers are running Windows 2000 at this point, the few that
aren't are running FreeBSD). I imagine that RCXCC works fine as well.
RC3 is the release candidate for the operating system, not the release
candidate for a beta. Microsoft is working hard at having Win2k release
this year, and that is still the official party line.
