Don't do that. 800 kB mails from mailing lists I (and many others) can
do without. Put 'em on your website, or FTP site, or whatever, but never
send unsolicited binaries to mailing lists.
.... and if/when you put images on a web site use processing software to
reduce the size.  Usually .gif and especially .jpg can be processed and
compressed without unacceptable loss of quality for this sort of line
image.  My best effort was a 4mb image scanned by my son reduced to 3k -
and he didn't notice (8-)#

I think you get the message now (8-)#  This group is very polite
compared with some.......
