I recently got 5 packs of 'gear wheels' from S@H.  Each pack includes a
*very* useful little gear.  I've never seen this particular gear in any
set, and I was wondering what it was for.  It's number 6542, has 16 • teeth,
and is unusual because of it's colour- dark grey rather than the usual
light grey.  I have been wanting a similar gear for some time, and now
I have 5 of them!  What makes it so special is it doesn't attach to the
shaft- it just spins free.  Also, it has a place where you can • mechanically
attach other legos or 2 of the gears can fit together.

FYI - the Technic Future Car (not to be confused with the Super Car) has
three of the aforementioned idler gears, along with some other nice
pieces, for about $44. Recommended.

Regards,
Issac.
