| I noticed a description of a Sound Sensor in this FAQ (URL) I wonder if anybody has ever tried hooking a microphone up directly to the input of an RCX the way that is suggested. I doubt it would really work. The microphone voltage would be modulated (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

It now starts by describing the "active circuit" method of reading sound, with pointers to two web pages of people who have actually done it, then describes the simple "passive" way along with its drawbacks and (...)
