Well, I was looking at http://www.shopping.com (IIRC) and noticed the 2.4GHz
wireless that seem to be similar to what they are describing from X10.
There are also 900Mhz wireless models that are cheaper but I bet they don't
work as well (I have a 900Mhz set, and they work adequately). You are going
to need a lot of battery power to run it I think, they come with a wall wart
at 18V. It also seemed like the 2.4GHz are directional while the 900Mhz are
not.
