For all you Hoover robotic vacuum cleaner fans, here's a company making a
variety of underwater models to sweep your swimming pool:

This is interesting because, unlike the Hoover model, this one follows a
specific pattern to methodically cover the entire pool. Of course, it
doesn't have to worry so much about avoiding furniture or family pets, being
underwater most of the time.

| I got a private reply from Bill Leggett about this device: (...) So it sounds like this thing boils down to some very clever mechanical engineering, but no software or electronics or anything. Still interesting to a robotics fan, but in a different (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)
