Laurentino,
Discover magazine had an short article a few months back, about using
the electrical nerve skin impulses from a moth to drive a toy car. The
car moved forward when the moth tried to fly and turned when the moth
turned (apparently they perform banked turns). It's possible, although
there was no word on if the moth really learned to drive or if tinny air
bags had to be installed for safety.
They were planing to transfer the technology to controlling wheel chairs
for paraplegics by their neck skin impulses. A wonderful idea, I
thought.
