# Subject: Re: clutch gear
# --------------
# What's the clutch gear? Is it the same as the free-wheeling gear which
# comes in one of the Lego service packs? (either the diff one
# or the gear
# blocks one, I forget which) If not, could someone describe it?
#
It's a white 24t gear, slightly thicker than the others.
If forced/stalled the central piece for the axle will rotate, if
not rotating the axle will also rotate the gear.
I got mine with the 8735 motor pack - check out
http://www.lugnet.com/pause/search/?query=8735 to see it.
