You probably won't find a preprogrammed remote that works with the RCX. Most of these
use a 11 or 14 bit command (this for some remotes can vary between 1 and 64 bits)
where as the rcx uses 8 bits with start and stop bits just as on a PC serial port.
Also to add to this most remotes use bi-phase or pulse width modulation where as
the RCX uses DASK (Digital Amplitude Shift Keying).
I would hazard a guess that the contoller in the Lego remote is a micro-controller
that transmits canned messages which are the same as those transmitted by the tower.
