Onderwerp: More Outputs for the RCX

Hi All - I've been thinking of possibilities for more outputs on the
RCX.  This may have been covered already, but how about a few
miniature relays driven by one output which would then switch power
between the other 2 outputs and 4 different motors.  2 motors could be
used for driving the robot, then when encountering an object, forward
(or reverse) motion would stop, and relays would engage 2 other motors
that could lift or grab.  This sceme would work, wouldn't it?  Thanks
--- John.

Bert - Yes, this is what I had in mind, only I would like to implement an electronic version using small relays. Thanks for the the excellent tips and resources on your Web site! I looked at your Visual Basic information when I was getting started (...) (26 years ago, 16-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
