I think that starting with the Lego software would be good for you to familiarize yourself with the _basic_ capabilities. Once comfortable with merging the mechanical engineering with the programming, I would move to VB/Spirit.ocx, then on to one of (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
