The internal counter is updated every 3ms. I'm sure the display isn't
updated that fast so you won't see every angle on the display. I estimate
the RCX can keep up with 1,000 RPM. You can flick the shaft faster than
that between you fingers and cause it to loose counts, but I've never seen
it loose a count directly connected to a Mindstorms 9V motor.

| (...) Has this been everyone's experience? I have not had the chance to experiment with my angle sensors very much since I got them, but by hooking one up to the RCX and VIEWing the sensor reading (sensor set to angle via Command Center), it (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
