This has a new (?) method of locomotion - it rolls along just by changing its
shape. The wheels are fixed to the body and do not rotate. In principle you
could enclose the whole thing in a plastic bag and it would still go (perhaps
there is a practical application there?). Interestingly, it (usually) needs a
push to get started.
Essentially, the whole thing is like a giant universal joint:
