   I have completed my "LEG-A-SKETCH", which works great, except for • the
marker, I use a standard dry-erase marker so it comes of the legos if I • mess
up :)
   My problem is that the lines will skip and the marker wont stay • straight
up and down, suggestions?

You might like to have a look at my "Programmable Plotter"; there are a
few pics on the Mindstorms website at

I don't know how you currently have your marker mounted, but I was
surprised to find how well my pen up/ pen down mechanism worked.

With regards to the line skipping, you may need to think about friction;
I thought my program was buggy until I removed the pen and put it back
on, mounted a bit higher from the paper. It drew perfectly then!

Feel free to contact me if you think I could be of any further
assistance.

Regards,
Issac
