On the RCX there was an Ada implementation, which worked by translating Ada to NQC. Does anyone know if there are any plans to make Ada available on NXT, perhaps in a similar manner? Thanks Andrew (19 years ago, 7-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Ross, Have you been able to reproduce this under Cygwin? I tried about six months ago but kept hitting some errors in building the toolchain. I used a variety of build scripts, even trying to reproduce the GNU ARM toolchain but with very similar (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Who cares? Years ago, we saw many IDEs for the RCX come and go. I suspect for most people, it was a chance to play with programming and LEGO at the same time. A challenge to one's self to see if it "can be done". I doubt any of these were (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Nick, Sorry for being late, but before you spend your money it might be useful to have a look at the list of available programming environments for the NXT listed at (URL) should be pretty complete and I tried most of them with a real task for a (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)
