Perhaps the LUGNET method of viewing the posts should be promoted first and then
explain why some users might need to use the email version. This would probably
prevent most newbies from wondering into the email version in the first place.
With out a doubt, "How do I get off this list?" is the most FAQ.

| I have to agree. I didn't know that I could read this with my news reader until I read THIS post. I quickly unsubscribed from the email list and am now using the newsgroup. Brian (26 years ago, 9-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

We can continue to reply with the oh-so-witty "have you checked the web site firs?" answer to "how do I unsubscribe" (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
