I have posted pics and info about my latest creation - FireBot (link below).  I received a new PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor from TechnoStuff and wanted to test it, so I thought what better way to do this than to build a fire extinguishing bot...   The goal was simple, build a bot that would detect and put out a fire (a candle flame in this case for safe measure).

I also did a review of the PIR sensor. Visit the review section for details.

On another note - I cant wait to get my hands on the NXT. I am a bit
dissappointed that they did not make things smaller, but I think this is a sign
that the focus for this set is more in the younger intermediate folks and not
the adults.  What I read into the info that is out so far is "expansion" and
"aftermarker parts" galore, which is exciting to think about the
possibilities...

Hello Dave, (...) Very good job as usual, both for the robot and web presentation! I have one minor complaint: the .inc files of your revues do not open properly in mozilla (I had to save and rename them to .htm), and seem to cause havoc on my (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)
