A) I am sure the Mindstorms community will come up with solutions. The arm
processor is higher profile than h8300 by a longshot.
B) I hate to say this but LabVIEW is a *real* programming environment. I have
used it a lot in several real-world and educational situations. Hopefull LEGO's
implementation is low-level enough for advanced features. There is a lot of
hope, though, because 3rd parties will need low-level access to design software
for their sensors.
With an up-to-date ARM processor the NXT shouldn't be as slow as the byte-code
interpretter on the oringinal RCX. This was my main reason for using the RCX.
C) I'm not really a computer science nut and if the LabVIEW environment is not
as limiting as before, I would enjoy the simplicity.

| Hi all, One thing that was noticibly absent from the press releases was the programming language(s) that would be used for NXT robots. Since NXT seems to be an addition to the Mindstorms family (and not a replacement for the RCX) I would assume that (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)
