I'm 99% sure the "Team Challenge" kit is the same as the Mindstorms V1.0
I believe the Team Challenge kit has a 1.0 RCX, which means it has an AC power
connector (can optionally run on AC) (this is good)
The TC also comes in a nice little portable box.
There is a tiny difference in the parts included in the kit (nothing worth noting)

Robolab is very good for kids. Many teams (including mine) use it for First LEGO
League.
