The most difficult part is getting a reliable feeding mechanism, especially when the lifting part is narrower...

I got this one right quite easily (the low profile blade easily slides below the balls but keeps on stirring so there is no jam):



...But I spent hours on this one to get the geometry right. And even now, rarely I have a ball that engages partially in the output drain and locks the rotating liftarm. With the worm gear drive, there is enough torque to overcome the lock but once in a while a ball or two flies across the room...:
