Hi,
This would be a feedback loop with matlab operating as a BIG
controller.  I also am interested in *specific* solutions of this
problem too, if somebody can point them out.  It seems to me that
inputs into matlab's simulink or so over IR ports would be very slow.
I thought of using matlab to design a MIMO controller in state space,
implement it in C/C++ and run the executable from a Palm or Handheld
computer with feedback loops over the IR (or RF).  A litttle PLC,
industrial PC or regular PC with I/O board would also work I guess with
faster signal over wires.  Sorry to pro's if this speculation is
trivial.  Appreciate input.  --Cristian

This may sounds like a stupid idea but I am just curious, has anybody
interface RCX or Spybot with MATLAB. I am just planning to analyze
inputs from robots and sending a signal based on the analyzed
results.
