Well let me welcome you to Lego robotics. I will be happy to help, as I am
sure the mailing list will be if you have any questions. Can I suggest you
take a look at NQC (Not-Quite-C) and bricxcc project - something close to
a C-Compiler for Lego Mindstorms at http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/ (along
with Bricxcc as well). This should give you a good start - given that
these are open source projects as well.
