I've been thinking about this one. It is probably impractical for most of us
to afford the size Solar Cell you need to run the RCX. I'm thinking that the
current needed would be on the order of one amp, which is difficult to
generate without spending lots of money. However, I recently found some solar
panels at a Flea Market, that are used to recharge your car during the day. I
don't know how much they put out, but when spring comes, I might try them out.
It might be more effective to use rechargeable batteries that could be charged
while the RCX is "at rest". From looking at other robots on the web, this
seems to be a common way to use solar.
