Hi Kevin,
Thanks for reviewing the website! The chapter on walking robots discusses basic
concepts behind the mechanics necessary for building such a machine. RCX
programming using state diagrams is explained for the software development phase
of a walking machine. The ROMA (Recycling Of Mechanica Assemblies) is discussed
and the importance of having such devices available for ease in building walking
machines. Lab projects provide the hands on tools for experimenting with the
machines. In the appendix there is tech notes on additional info on walking
robots with a website for more machine design inspiration.

| (...) Hi Don, Congratulations on getting our your second book! Authoring a book is a lot of work. Your page hints at a section on walking robots. Could you give me more information on this section. I'm very interested in walking robots. Kevin (21 years ago, 5-Oct-03, to lugnet.robotics)
