Hey, I was just going by what I could find on the webpage (I use 98SE,
which continues to prove itself to be the least buggy Windows version on the
market). And according to that page, there was a known error, and they
suggested checking back to see if any patches had been posted. At present
there are two LS patches (completely unrelated, from the looks of things)
and no VC patches. If they have a patch for it, I would have expected to
see it posted on their website, rather than making people contact TLC
directly for it. Well, unless it's completely new software, in which case
they'd probably want to make sure it was only going out to those who
actually own a VC or LS set.

Ah, but that doesn't help much if you're more interested in the LegoCam
software than the actual camera (and just out of curiosity, can Mindstorms
use the VC without the actual VC software or not?). I got one a couple
years ago, and while the camera is packed into a Gali can, I've been using
the software quite extensively as an image editor. None of the other free
editors that I've received can do what I need to do, and it beats the heck
out of paying for Photoshop, or handing any more money over to Microsquish.

| (...) 98SE least buggy? Yeah right. I use XP and it blows the pants of Windows 9X/ME when it comes to stability and bugginess and etc. (22 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.robotics)
