It is not a 100% passive solution, but I added a very simple Differential
Light Sensor to my web page.  It really isn't that hard to build and all the
parts come from RadioShack.  You can find it in the "Homebrew Sensor" area of
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Michael_Gasperi/lego.htm

I've thought about this, but I've come up empty. If you could get between the input line and the 10K pull-up resistor, it would be easy. You could then wire the CdS cells on either side, with a 10K resistor from one cell to ground. Then when the (...) (26 years ago, 31-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
