| Are there any electronic differences between the 1.0 and 2.0 RCX bricks, or is it just the software? If the former, is there anything that would preclude putting the 2.0 firmware on the 2.0 brick? Thanks, Brass (21 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| The differences between varous RCXen: There was an RCX labelled "1.0" that came with the RIS 1.0 set. It had a power jack on it. This power jack would take 9-12V, AC or DC. It was "designed" to work with the Lego train transformer. Then RIS 1.5 came (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.robotics)
