The 1.0 and 1.5 RIS sets both came with a serial port (RS-232) tower.
The 2.0 RIS set comes only with the USB tower.
HOWEVER: All RIS sets work equally well with all towers - providing the
software you use knows about it - so if you can obtain a 2.0 tower,
it'll work just fine with 1.0 or 1.5 RCX computers - but if you use
the standard LEGO software, you'll probably need to get the 2.0 software.
If you use 3rd party software (which is generally free), you can just
get the latest version and it'll drive the USB tower OK.
