(...) It's in README.TXT in the Mindstorms install directory under "GUIDED MODE" (third section down): "Tip: Although it is not advised to do so, you can bypass Guided Mode and make the full menu active by holding down the Control key and clicking (...) (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
