Hi, I'm not an electronic guru yet either, but I would think the first thing
to do would be to try using the batteries again while the AC adaptor is
unplugged. This way you can tell if you have fried the RCX, or run into a
technical problem dealing with the AC power transformer; either way, this
will determine wheither or not you will ever see your RCX in action again.
