I'm a Senior in high school and one of the requirements to graduate is that
we must complete a Senior project.  I know nothing about building sensors or
electronics at all.  All though I could learn very easily.  The purpose of
the post was to find something to use as mines and how to detect them.  I'm
just looking into a couple possible ideas before I commit myself to one
idea.

Just a few notes about the project:
It is not a competition.
It can be what ever I want it to be.

Thanks for all the ideas
Scott

Subject: Land mine robot

Hi,
I thought of a new project and would like some input on the idea.  My idea
is to set up a sand box and hide objects to simulate land mines.  My • thought
was to have a robot search for the hidden mines.  My question is, how can • I
get the robot to sense the hidden mines?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

This requires a logical approach (and that always looks good in a school report!) Now - (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)
