Yes - that seems to work too - but it still needs one wheel in the
middle to make it practical and that added to the length of the
differential makes for a VERY tall vehicle.
Even my original design suffers from that problem.
I'm having to work quite hard to keep the center of gravity
low and still get a good gear ratio driving down the center of
the turntable.
