Our bluewand (http://bluewand.info) uses the murata parts. Analog devices has
some gyros, too.

The same as in a heli: Prevent from rotation. You can e.g. make your robot
drive a straight line on a thick carpet. Or you can make it return to the
correct direction even if it bumps into obstacles.
