You may wish to use Gaffers Tap or Spike Tape (they are the same kind of tape,
but Gaffers tape is wide and Spike tape is narrow). Both are available at
theatrical supply stores. This tape is designed to hold well but remove without
leaving a residue. Different brands have different levels of stick, so you may
wish to ask for a roll of the "less sticky" stuff.

Black electrical tape works very well on a mostly white kitchen floor.

However, there may be some scrubbing required when the tape is removed.

Subject: Ant pheromones

As I wrote in my last mail I'm planing to build a system for robots guidance
and communication similar to ants. I can't get a big enough paper and I
can't paint my floor so anyone has an idea of how to 'draw' a path without
damaging my floor. The idea of using lego pieces is good but the robot could
accidentaly move them and miss the path.
Best wishes,
Jonathan

Along the same lines, you can get sports floor tape at various sporting good stores. It doesn't leave sticky stuff on wooden gym floors and comes in a lot of colours. -- Baha Baydar bbaydar@hfx.eastlink.ca ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.robotics)
