Don't forget that BrickFest 2002 is only a couple of weeks away, and there
are some good prizes just waiting to be picked up.

Friday, July 19   The Technic Competition - Scree Runner

1st - 8466 4x4 Off-Roader
2nd - 8735 Power Pack

Saturday, July 20 The Robotics Competition - Crevasse Crosser

1st - 9709 RCX + HiTechnic Sensor Set
2nd - 8735 Power Pack

Sunday, July 21   The Sumo Competition - Grand Finale

1st - 3804 RIS 2.0
2nd - 9709 RCX + HiTechnic Sensor Set
3rd - HiTechnic LightBricks set

So if you need any of this stuff, you need to brush the dust off that
winning design and you need to bring it to BrickFest.

And if it isn't a competitive entry in one of the competitions, it could
still win in either of the two categories of Best Technic/Model Team or Best
Technic/Mindstorms model on display in the Technic & Mindstorms room.

So show up!

.... you'll have fun!

See you there.

JB

I say somewhat in jest, is the location a secret? It took a minor effort on the brickfest web site to discover it's in Arlington, VA. It often seems to me that the home page of many events, fail to say anything about the location of the event. (...) (...)
