if you do a search, (don't have the time to find reference right now)
through lugnet.robotics you can find a reference to a serial port
self-powered IR controller that you can home-brew. or you may be ableto
convince John to send you the pcb layout for it, i haven't had the guts to
take mine apart yet, but i don't use anything else but for programming my
rcx.
i'm checking for the image but can't seem to find it...damn WIN me
