Even more important: Why is Lego marking down the RCX 50%? Are they
discontinuing this?
What is the story? I can't believe that Spy-botics is replacing this:
It doesn't have the "juice."

Second, the LEGO Outlet (at least the one in Georgia) is selling (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

You can always buy a USB tower if you need one, but for anyone thinking about using alternative firmware on a non-windows machine, the 1.5 with the serial tower is easier to deal with.
