Discussions about differentials, transmissions, and other applications of
gears are quite popular and important. I've made an attempt to capture these
posts and provide a reference that will be useful to readers:

I've included links to various construction ideas, hoping to make a
constructopedia-like reference page.
I would like to ask your help in enhancing this reference by providing me
with any posts you feel would make a good addition. Please help me turn this
reference page into a useful resource. I'm not limiting this reference to
only posts on Lugnet. I'll add links to other websites too.[1]

1.) I like the idea of linking to previous Lugnet posts for a few reasons:
- website links need maintenance and are subject to "dying". Linking to a
Lugnet post will ensure that readers (in the future) could at least see a
name and email so that with a little detective work, they could hunt down
more information about a bad link.
- it keeps everything on Lugnet
- it promotes using the newsgroups as a resource (which they are, and are
quite valuable as such)
