My 0.00000250 Ton LEGO Injection-Molding Factory can be seen at
http://www3.sympatico.ca/jdkalpin.  Navigate to the section:  "Inj. • Molding
Factory".

It consists of a Mold Press, with a motorized screw, barrel heaters, a
pneumatic ram;  also a 4-cavity mold with a manifold heater (for 4mm
photographic film spools);  also an air-compressor set controlled by a
pressure switch;  finally, a motorized valve that causes the mold-press to
cycle.  The RCX is a Motor-Control Center!  It is built into a 36 x 36
(stud) bay.  There is a Mold Setup Operator there to give you a sense of
scale.  These can be big machines!

I should tell you that, with 6 AA batteries, the plastic will melt only in
your imagination.  So I don't feel too bad about the absence of the
'stripper-plate' for part removal...
