I have completed work on my RCX Infrared Expander. With $10 of easily found
electronics components, you can this circuit that allows you to send an IR
message from the RCX to trip an external relay. This allows you to control
another output from your RCX, without sacrificing anything. The only
problem is that you can only turn this extra motor on because there is no
way to then turn it off.
