Hi Rog - Hey, I was born & raised in Puddletown. Here on Vashon Island, our
5th graders all do a 3-week robotics unit with Lego Mindstorms, building and
programming robots in 2-student teams. They go through the basic CD-ROM
tutorials, use the Lego-supplied RCX Code graphical programming language,
and have little trouble doing basic programming - mechanical engineering is
always the biggest problem they face! I should mention that Dave Baum's
"Definitive Guide to Lego Mindstorms" describes how to build several
interesting robots, and includes numerous samples of RCX Code.
