Dunno - but the MicroScout is *hardly* what I'd call "programmable". You
can essentially store a straight linear sequence of commands (to a limit
of about 8 or 10 commands IIRC) - each of which basically matches one of
the commands you can run from the front panel.  It doesn't have any
conditionals, variables, subroutines - nothing that would make me think
"programmable" - and it still makes those annoying bleeping noises all
the time.  It's a real waste of a potentially useful part IMHO.
