ok, I found a cause/workaround for the mouse tracking performace problem with RIS
2.0:
TURN OFF MOUSE "POINTER TRAILS" IN THE WINDOWS CONTROL PANEL
It's still not great, but it makes it usable.

| Ok, I recently purchased some new 2.0 sets for our FIRST LEGO League team, and I am disappointed enough I think we may switch back to RIS 1.5 or maybe start using Robolab (which I also don't like much). The main problem is that the GUI is unusably (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics)
