RIS 2.0/ RCX 2.0 differences????

Just got a new RIS 2.0 and haven't had a chance to check out the Software
that came with it yet. Except for the CD and manual, the components in the
set seem to be identical with RIS 1.5 with one other notable difference.
The RCX brick is stamped "2.0" in contrast to the "1.0" that was on the
brick that came with the RIS 1.0 and 1.5 sets (same version even though the
1.0 set RCX has the AC jack).
Anyone know if there's a hardware difference between the bricks? or is it
all in the software? I've got a builders accessory set on backorder, that
hasn't shipped yet.
I'll get around to further exploration when I get a chance......though not
sure how soon that'll be.
