According to this article...
http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/0106/29.knex.shtml
...those kooky stick and straw lovin' nuts in the K'Nex camp have done what
LEGO seems unwilling/unable to do...support the Macintosh.

The K'Nex robotics systems are NATIVE Macintosh...WHAT A CONCEPT! See here
for more: http://www.knexeducation.com/techno.html

I REALLY want to get all of the robotics/MindStorms stuff, but I DON'T want
to have to buy adapters, settle for older software, or use PC emulation to
do so (same applies to all other LEGO product for Macintosh-games, CAD,
etc.). Kudos to K'Nex for doing something right (even though their building
system leaves so much to be desired).

You'll still be using adapters, assuming you have a newer Mac:
(From the knexeducation website)

   - Computer cables and adapters for PC & Mac
   - (compatible with serial ports, not USB ports)
