I applaud 100%! Great work! I like to think that if the Lego designers can have new bits for new models, so can we!!!! I appear to have duplicated just about everthing you've been doing :) As far as the threaded rod business goes; I've been buying (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Doesn't "Reply to Group" only work with New Groups (NNTP), not e-mail lists? And don't ALL e-mail clients have a 'Reply To All' function? Can't you just do that and erase the recipient you don't want (in this case, the sender)? -- V (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

How about a water-based lubricant instead of petroleum-based? If it's safe for latex...why not ABS? :) Use it sparingly and only as a last resort. Personally, I doubt I would use graphite. Graphite would be a little too messy for me. -Troy (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Yes they do lose a little, I guess we always knew that would be the case, I hate to see you not use the gear if it's to loose, reurn it for a new one if you decide somthing really needs it. Also I consider this gear a "back-up" in preventing (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Hmm interesting. I only have one clutch gear (the one that came with RIS 1.5), and it is too *loose* to really be at all functional. I've also read that the clutch force tends to drop in them the more they are used. (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)
