  Extreme Mindstorms Book Question

Hi all, I am looking at buying the book - Extreme Mindstorms. Any comments welcome. I am an advanced user, and am looking for some ideas. For those who have it, what customized sensors do they provide instructions to build? Dave (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Solar Cell Output in Direct Sunlight

(...) Well, I could certainly create an artificial environment which would increase the solar cell's output without the need for scheduling another test on the summer solstice, if you were merely curious as to its maximum output based on the cell's (...)   Re: Solar Cell Output in Direct Sunlight

(...) I'd suggest that you try this again mid-summer. The solar radiation angle is still fairly low at this time of year with much of the energy being scattered by the atmosphere as well as being spread over a larger surface area of the earth. I (...) After viewing the walder movie, I wonder if it would work with flat feet, and an ankle joint? Gravity would keep the flat foot pointed down when the leg was lifted. - pete. (...) -- Pete Sevcik sevcik@flash.net Techno-stuff Robotics (URL) for FUN ! (24 years ago, 24-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Solar Cell Output in Direct Sunlight

Well, it finally got sunny here. In direct sunlight, the solar cell seems to put out about 4V, 135mA (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.dacta)

Lego Remote Control - Here's The Scoop

Hi ! As some of you have noticed, Ms. Jennifer Clark showed off her beautiful new truck model at the Cheshire Legofest recently. The truck was equipped with a prototype radio control system which she has been kind enough to test for me. The (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) Great! If there's anything I'd like to be able to have instructions to it's probably your models. (and perhaps the MIBO dog will go on the same list...) - David (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)
