  Solar Cell Output in Direct Sunlight
 
Well, it finally got sunny here. In direct sunlight, the solar cell seems to put out about 4V, 135mA (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.dacta)

What kind of ankle joint? A motorized one, or passive one? If it is the first type I think the leg will be too heavy to be moved quickly. That is critical since the robot falls onto itself. (...) I'd suggest that you try this again mid-summer. The solar radiation angle is still fairly low at this time of year with much of the energy being scattered by the atmosphere as well as being spread over a larger surface area of the earth. I (...)
