The first time I noticed the less thick black pegs was in the 8448
Superstreet sensation and in the other technic sets from the same year
(8444, 8445, 8446). It seems to me that there are 4 different kinds of black
pegs that came out over time, but I'm not an expert in history of Lego :-)
