    Black friction peg size —John Barnes
   While I was makeing a simply fixture to mount black friction pegs in a lathe, I discovered that they come in two different wall thicknesses!      The first time I noticed the less thick black pegs was in the 8448 Superstreet sensation and in the other technic sets from the same year (8444, 8445, 8446). It seems to me that there are 4 different kinds of black pegs that came out over time, but (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

   Hello, As to my knowledge, there are two sorts of black friction pegs. Sort 1 is the oldest one. It has the usual form of a peg, but it has full-length ribbons on it: from the middle to the end, there's a ridge to cause the friction. These pegs stay (...)
